Mission Statement

Vote CD5 Blue is a political organization focused on strengthening civic participation and community engagement in Texas’s 5th Congressional District (TX‑05), including Anderson, Cherokee, East Dallas, Henderson, Kaufman County and Van Zandt Counties. Our mission is to support efforts that expand voter access, increase public involvement in local decision‑making, and ensure that every community—urban, suburban, and rural—has the tools and information needed to participate fully in the democratic process.

We focus on building long‑term civic infrastructure, supporting year‑round engagement, and connecting new and existing residents with resources that help them understand and navigate local systems. By investing in turnout, education, and community‑based organizing, we aim to ensure that the voices of rapidly changing communities are heard and represented in the processes that shape their future.
